You talk. Just for fun. To express wishes. Spread goodwill around the world. Of course, a similar event could happen online with IM’ing or emailing. Possible name: International Talk to Strangers Day. (With appropriate warnings and precautions, of course. Idea is just to talk, not meet face to face.) Oh, and discount rates. Perhaps all paid by mini sponsored ad messages. After all, this could be a bonanza for cellular services.
