fooltheboss.com

Say at work, you don’t dare get caught checking out fun stuff on the Web. That boss is so strict, well, can’t even safely check out fark.com, ESPN, blogs or film reviews. Well, somebody could create a website just for you. Go to “fooltheboss.com” and you’re instantly redirected to “seriousbusiness.com” and the title displays “Statistical Marketing Analysis” and the big headline says, “Helpful tips for smart employees.”  But after a few geniune tips (in case the boss asks), the text is the day’s top juicy stuff — sports, crime, celebrity-babe gossip, and offbeat news. But it’s all in boring text so the boss will never know. (Unless he’s clued in because he goes to “fooltheemployees.com.”) As an added bonus, fooltheboss.com can also pop up a phony frame you can put around any side. The top banner, hiding the site name, has choices like the Department of Commerce, or some pseudo dictionary/thesaurus stuff. Down the side are quick duck-out links to more reputable fare. … Come to think of it, this isn’t a single site, it’s a bit of trickeration that might benefit every major website. Click a button and go to “surreptitious mode.” …  Now, if only there was a way to disguise videos. …
