All sorts of sites automatically find and rank and list the latest, greatest news. But what about the blasts from the past? What’s new isn’t always the most interesting. So how about a site, or part of a site, that randomly generates a list of once-popular posts, videos, podcasts and news articles. Would be fun, nostalgic, surprising, too. Imagine a list like this: Dancing baby video, Dick Cheney shoots colleague cartoon, early returns say Al Gore wins the presidency … no, wait … it’s too close to call.
Another “random” idea: “International Random Cellular Meet and Greet Day”
Hmm … it’d be cool to have a random post picker. Not previous. Not a favorite. Just one at random.
